Yangın bir Veri Merkezinin başına gelebilecek en kötü senaryolardan biridir. Bu yüzden Veri Merkezimizde bulunması kaçınılmaz bir sistemdir. Yangın söndürme çözümleri Data Center’da bulunan sistemlere ve personele zarar vermeyecek şekilde olmalıdır. Bu yüzden bu özelliğe sahip gazlar kullanılmaktadır. Gazlı söndürme sisteminde amaç içeride bulunan oksijeni emmektir. Bu yüzden sensör zonları bir yangın algıladığında ilk yapacağı hamlelerden biri içerideki klimaları devre dışı bırakmak olacaktır. Bu sayede içerdeki dumanın tüm ortama yayılmasını ve yangın şiddetinin artmasını engelleyecektir. Bahsettiğimiz çözümlerde kullanılan gazlar FM200, Argonite ve Novec 1230 gazlarıdır.
Yangın veya herhangi bir acil durumda alarm mesajlarının iletimi veya genel amaçlı anons iletimi ile sürekli fon müziği yayınlaması amacıyla ileri teknolojinin gereklerini yerine getiren sistemlerdir. Yeni teknolojik binalardaki seslendirme sistemlerinde, hoparlör hattı zonlarını (linye) sürekli açık ve kısa devre konumunu izleyecek akıllı tipte süpervizyon modülleri ile donatılmaktadır. Hatlarda açık devre arızası olması durumunda, klasik sistemlerde arıza sinyali alınamamakta ve dolayısı ile hangi hoparlörlerin devre dışı olduğu anlaşılamamaktadır. Ana merkeze eklenecek Hat Süpervizyon Modülü ile hatlar kısa devre ve açık devre arızalarına karşı kontrol edilir ve merkezde bu arıza izlenir. Tüm hoparlör zonlarının sonuna Aktif Hat Sonu Dirençleri monte edilir.
Veri Merkezinde bulunan cihazların büyük bir bölümü çabuk ve yüksek ısı üretmektedir. Sistemlerin tamamı fazla ısıda performans kaybı ve daha sonra arıza yaşatmaktadır. Dolayısı ile Soğutma devamlılığın sağlanması konusunda en önemli ünitedir. Enerji sarfiyatının büyük bölümünü üstlenir. Bu yüzden Minimum maliyetle maksimum fayda alınmalıdır. Su ile soğutma (Green Data Center) yeni bir çözüm olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Devamlılığın öneminden dolayı soğutma sistemlerinin yedekliliği de son derece önemlidir.

In the raised floor facility, the infrastructure elements like wiring ,plumbing are the building products that allows to interfere within the area if needed by providing proper area to passages . Channels are used in cabling. Channels are used to uncouple the UTP,Fiber and Energy cables.
Fireproof cables should have preference priority. The target of estrade is to transport the cold air from the air conditioning in a healthy way to the grills which were opened at the front cabinets and its suitability for cabling. Fire sensors should be placed under the floor.
Tracking is necessary for the early detection of safety and worst case scenarios that may occur.First of all, Data Center must be monitored and recorded for 7/24 hours with cameras. In an undesirable condition which may occur, communication should be provided with personnel in charge in order of importance from the personnel who monitors for 7/24 or the person him/herself should be close enough to interfere to the Data Center. At a Data Center ,undesirable conditions might not occur only on security for systemic systems. physical conditions are also very important in this regard. Leaking water from the air conditioning, temperature, fire, voltage variations and the quality of the air inside the room should be monitored and should be followed by the instant information systems. These notifications can be forwarded to the responsible person via email or SMS.

In this circumstances, your Data Center should last its continuity even in case of natural disasters. Various solutions in response to the earthquake disaster are manufactured by companies operating in this sector. In the flood disaster ,location where the data center is very important. Fire detection and intervention system includes a little more automation and is a more costly unit. Materials to be used in extinguishing should not harm the staff and the equipment in the Data Center. Today , those kind of gases are available : not harmful for human health and giving instant results.

The aim of gas extinguishing systems is to absorb the oxygen contained inside.Therefore , When the sensor zones detect fire ,it deactivates air conditioners firstly.

What is expected from management software in data centers:
We can sum briefly as follow: based on importing realtime data from Energy&Cooling systems , then reporting the data to IT personnnel as realtime and producing alarms.It should be able to report the effectiveness of the system’s energy consumption, whether the device works or not and in the same way the cooling system via monitoring.
